DESCRIPTION:Our Literacy Adventure Camp Read-A-Lot kicks off on March 1 with a special assembly and handing out Reading Logs.  Celebrating Read Across America Day – March 2. \nStudents will dive into their reading and log their reading minutes from March 1 through March 11.  All types of reading count– student reading\, parent led reading\, teacher led reading and even listening to audio books! \nReading logs will be turned into teachers on March 11. Students can earn classroom rewards for the most minutes read! (Reward Categories: K-1\, 2-3 & 4-5) \nOur school wide goal is to read over 100\,000 minutes! \nCamp Read-A-Lot Spirit Week\n\nMONDAY 3/4: HAZELWOOD SPIRIT GEAR\nGrab your Hazelwood gear and celebrate Mustang Monday together! \nTUESDAY 3/5: LET’S GO CAMPING/OUTDOOR GEAR\nDress up like you’re ready to go on a hike or a camping adventure! \nWEDNESDAY 3/6: GO TEAM\nWear your favorite sports team gear or colors! \nTHURSDAY 3/7: CHARACTER DAY\nDress up like your favorite character from a book or movie and have your classmates guess who you are! \nFRIDAY 3/8: READING RAINBOW\nEach grade will wear the colors below to come together to make a reading rainbow!\nKinder – Red  |  1st Grade – Orange  |  2nd Grade – Yellow\n3rd Grade – Green  |  4th Grade – Blue  |  5th Grade – Purple  |  Staff – White
