Students will also have a chance to write thank you notes at recess on this day. We’re also asking parents to help us stock the lounge for a star studded welcome! Stock the Staff Lounge > \nTUESDAY 5/6 Star Treatment – Let’s come together to clear the teacher wishlists\, just like the stars they are getting the VIP treatment! \nWEDNESDAY 5/7 Room Service – Teachers will get drinks and treats delivered to their classroom throughout the day. \nTHURSDAY 5/8 Red Carpet Luncheon – Lunch will be provided for teachers and staff. \nFRIDAY 5/9 Our Teacher’s Biggest Fans – Dress up in your teacher’s favorite color and get ready to fangirl as we roll out the red carpet for Hazelwood’s hottest stars. DESCRIPTION:Our Literacy Adventure & Spring Fundraiser kicks off on February 28th! Throughout the week\, students will participate in a number of reading adventure activities like our kickoff assembly\, track their reading at home\, and participating in Camp-Read-A-Lot Spirit Week. \nWe are also asking families to participate by supporting their students in their reading\, and donating to our Camp-Read-A-Lot Spring Fundraiser. \nOur school community is strong\, but we’re facing financial challenges due to unmet Fun Run goals and upcoming district budget cuts. To protect the programs that inspire our students\, we need your help. \nJoin our Camp Read-A-Lot Fundraiser by contributing $31 for each of your students (that’s just $1 a day for March Literacy Month). Every dollar goes directly to programs that foster creativity\, curiosity\, and a love of learning–and reading! With your contributions we can make it to our fundraising goal of $15\,000. If you can give more and sponsor an additional child/children\, your generosity will go even further. Every donation counts!
